To find the correct vacuum cleaner attachment to serve your purpose, first consider the following attributes:

  • Application: What type of surface will you be cleaning? Carpet? Bare floors? Walls? Ceilings? Upholstery? Will there be liquid or oil cleanup involved? Do you need extensions for extra reach or overhead capability?
  • Compatibility: What type of equipment are you connecting to? In what manner does the vaccum cleaner attachment need to attach to the wand (handle)? What size does the vacuum cleaner attachment need to be to fit the equipment?
  • Materials: Plastic vacuum cleaner tools and attachments are typically less expensive and lighter in weight than metal tools, and are virtually unbreakable under normal conditions. For you application, metal tools may be required or preferred. Tools with horsehair will provide the greatest surface cleaning, whereas nylon willl typically last longer.
